Scene #41 - Saanp ko haath se nahin pairon se kuchla jaata hai Gabbar
Climbs on a nearby horse and rushes away. Some dacoits try to contain him but in vain.
Veeru:
Gabbbbbaaaar! Aa bahar aa. Dum hai to saamne aa kameene...
Gabbar is hiding between rocks with his men.
Veeru:
Main apne dost ke khoon ke ek ek boond ka badla lene aaya hoon. Aaj tu apni maut se nahin chhup sakta.
Gabbar comes out and attacks Veeru with his men. But soon Veeru overpowers Gabbar's men and then takes on Gabbar. Veeru takes a log and tries to squeeze Gabbar's neck.
Thakur Baldev Singh:
Veeeeeruuuu!!!
Thakur enters.
Thakur Baldev Singh:
Gabbar ko mere hawale kar do.
Veeru:
Nahin thakur nahin. Main ise zinda nahin chhodunga.
Thakur Baldev Singh:
Waada mat bhoolo Veeru.
Veeru:
Mujhe koi wada yaad nahin. Mujhe sirf itna yaad hai ki is kameene ke aadmiyon ne Jai ki jaan lee hai. Aur main iska khoon pee jaaoonga.
Thakur Baldev Singh:
Tumhare usee dost ne mujhse wada kiya tha. Chhod do isse.
Veeru releases Gabbar.
Veeru:
Thakur! Agar yeh wada maine kiya hota to tod deta. Yeh wada mere dost Jai ne kiya tha isliye...
Veeru breaks the log with his right leg and leaves. Thakur moves towards Gabbar. Gabbar gets up. The sole of thakur's shoes is clearly visible. It has a lot of pointy nails.
Gabbar Singh:
Tu kya ladega mujhse thakur! Tere to haath kaatke phenk chukka hoon main...ehhh ehhheeeeh...
Thakur Baldev Singh:
Saanp ko haath se nahin pairon se kuchla jaata hai Gabbar. Tere liye to mere pair hi kaafi hain.
Thakur drops off the shawl from his shoulders and jumps on Gabbar. Thakur showers kicks on Gabbar.
Thakur Baldev Singh:
Bahut jaan hai in haathon mein!
Thakur squeezes Gabbar's hands with his nailed-shoes. Gabbar kicks thakur and he fells down. But Thakur soon takes control. He stands on Gabbar's hand.
Gabbar Singh:
Aaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Thakur Baldev Singh:
Gabbar! Yeh haath mujhe de de.
Gabbar Singh:
Nahin nahin.
Thakur Baldev Singh:
Yeh haath mujhe de de.
Gabbar Singh:
Nahinn aaah nahinn.
All villagers surround the area, with arms in their hands. Thakur lifts his leg with the intention of squashing Gabbar's face.
Police inspector:
Thakur sahab!
Police arrives.
Police inspector:
Chhod dijiye ise. Mujrim ko saza dena kanoon ka kaam hai.
Thakur Baldev Singh:
Kanoon ko Gabbar chahiye inspector - zinda ya murda.Police inspector:
Kya aaj aapke apne jazbaat farz aur usoolon se zyada keemti ho gaye? Kya aapki nazron mein kanoon aur insaaf ka woh darja nahin raha? Thakur sahab main jaanta hoon aap par kya guzri hai. Lekin yeh na bhuliye ki aap to ek aise police afsar rahe jinki misaal aaj bhi dee jaati hai.
Thakur leaves Gabbar. Inspector handcuffs Gabbar.
At a funeral pyre. Veeru, thakur and villagers standing near the pyre. Radha witnesses that from her window and closes it.
At the railway station.
Veeru:
Achha Thakur sahab, main chalta hoon.
Thakur Baldev Singh:
Main tumhara dukh baant to nahin sakta Veeru, samajh zaroor sakta hoon.
Veeru gets into the train, to find Basanti waiting there. They hug each other and the train leaves.
