Scene #37 - Basanti in kutton ke saamne mat naachna
Basanti is sitting by the pond...sees the reflection of some horseriders in the water and suddenly runs towards her tonga.
Basanti:
Chal Dhannnnoooo...
Basanti:
Chal Dhanno, aaj teri Basanti ki ijjat ka sawal hai...chal.
Basanti drives her tonga hard...dacoits follow.
Basanti:
Bhaag Dhanno, bhaag.
A young boy grazing goats sees all this.
Basanti:
Bhaaag...jaldi bhaag.
Veeru comes near the pond...the young boy shows him the way where Basanti and dacoits went.
One dacoit manages to board the tonga but Basanti hits him on his head with something hard and he falls off. One wheel comes off the tonga. Suddenly the tonga passes over a big stone and turns over. Basanti is on the ground...Dhanno runs away. Veeru is running his horse in a rocky terrain. Suddenly a dacoit jumps on him and he gets captured.
Gabbar...Basanti is standing in front of Gabbar, in scorching sun.
Gabbar Singh:
Pththtooo...arre o Sambha...yeh Ramgarh wale apni betiyon ko kaun chakki ka pisa aata khilate hain re? Jara saali ke haath paaon dekh... bahut karaare hain sale. Bahut karare.Dacoit # 1:
Sardaar...pichle baras hum Haripur ke Jamnadas ki shaadi mein chup chupakar gaye the. Wahan bahut jor naachi thi yeh.
Gabbar Singh:
Waaaah! Bahut katili nachahiya ho tum...jara humko bhi dikhao do chaar thumke...
Basanti:

Gabbar Singh:
Dekho chamiya...jyada nakhre mat karo. Nahin to yeh gori chamdi hai na, saare badan se khurach khurach kar nikal doonga samjhi?
Captured Veeru is brought in front of Gabbar.
Basanti:
Veeru!
Basanti tries running towards Veeru but Gabbar holds her by her hand.
Gabbar Singh:
Thehro Rani. Baandh do sale ko. Bahut yarana lagta hai haaayin...ehhhheehh...aao maharathi...aaj aaya hai oont pahad ke neeche...aye...is chamiya se tera taanka bhida hai kya re?
Veeru:
Haramzaade! Tujhse bada kameena maine zindagi mein nahin dekha.
Gabbar Singh:
Aur ab dekhoge bhi nahin kyunki jindagi to ab khatam hone wali hai.
Gabbar picks up a weapon is about to behead Veeru.

Bahut yarana lagta hai. Bahut yarana lagta hai haayin. Arre o Sambha...utha to jara bandook aur laga nisana is kutte par. Ab dekho chamiya...agar apne yaar ki jindagi chahiye to kuch naach gaana dikha do humko bhi.
Veeru:
