Scene #19 - Kalia to kehta tha ki do hain
Boooooom! Bang! Booom Bang bang!!!
Suddenly explosions and bullets. Dacoits attack the celebrations. Everyone runs away to nearest shelter. Dacoits demolish huts. Veeru runs Basanti to safety and then pulls a horse rider down and gets his pistol, shoots two dacoits. A dacoits comes running on his horse, Jai hits him with a stick and collects his rifle. Both of them start killing one dacoit after the other. Basanti collects some guns. Jai runs out of bullets. Veeru also runs out of them. Dacoits encircle Jai. Veeru notices that Jai is in trouble and starts looking here and there. Suddenly he spots a rifle lying on the ground, just in front of Thakur. Thakur and Veeru look at each other. Veeru signals him to pick up the rifle. Thakur doesnít make any such attempt. Jai kicks one dacoit and tries to escape but soon bullets are showered around him. Enter Gabbar and Sambha. Jai stands up.
Gabbar Singh:
Accha! To yeh hai Thakur ka phauji...heehaahhuuuh...Sambha, Kalia to kehta tha ki do hain. Yeh doosra kahan hai? Kahan hai re doosra? Aye phauji, tera jodidaar kahan hai, bata. Arre oh phauji number do, tu aata hai bahar ya maar doon goli tere jodidaar ko?
Bang!
Veeru:
Theeeehhhhhrooooo!
Gabbar Singh:
Aaaaaoooo...heehaahhhuuhh...aaao...huuhhaahhehiuuh...aaao....ab aaye ho haath mein...haaa haa hmmm...aao...aoo..huuhmmhunn...sabbbaaas...heeh huuh...eeeihhhh...
Gabbar Singh:
Kyon Thakur, inhe laaye the Ramgarh ki raksa karne, Gabbar se takkar lene kyun? Ramgarh ke wasiyon, jhaank kar dekho apne apne gharon se. Yehi jiyale aaye the Gabbar Singh se bachane tumhe. Nikal gayi sab hekdi inki, sab hekdi? Aaaaakthhooooo. Gabbar ke taap se tumhe ek hi aadmi bacha sakta hai, ek hi aadmi...khud Gabbar. Aur agar iske badle mein mere aadmi tumse thoda sa anaj thoda sa saman lete hain to kya koi jurm karte hain? Koi jurm nahin karte, main kehta hoon koi jurm nahin karte. Baassss!!! Ab iske baad agar kisine apna sar uthaya main uska sar...haaaan...sar...tum in dono ko bahut soorma samajhte ho na, yeh kiraye ke tattoo isi chaupal mein mere pairon mein sar rakhkar daya ki bheekh maangenge. In pairon mein sar rakhkar. Tumne suna maine kya kaha? Suna? Woh sar, yeh pair...huuhhhhuhh..Chalo...Chaallooooo...
Jai starts moving towards Gabbar.
Veeru:
Jai!
Jai reaches near Gabbar and bends down and throws color in Gabbarís eyes. Gabbar is blinded. Enters Basanti on her tonga.
Basanti:
Chal Dhannnooo...
Jai and Veeru get onto the tonga, collect the arms and get down. Start killing dacoits. Jai picks up a machine gun and goes on rampage. Veeru jumps from roof to roof and shoots dacoits. Jai forces Gabbar to roll on ground, helpless.
Gabbar Singh:
Saambhaaa!
Sambha picks up Gabbar and leaves with his remaining people. Veeru shows thumbs-up to Jai and winks at him; Jai winks back. Veeru notices Thakur and the rifle that is still lying near his feet. Veeru and Jai walk upto him.
Veeru:
Thakur Sahab! Ab hum aapki ladayi nahin lad sakte. Aapke liye jo izzat hamare dil mein thi woh khatm ho chuki hai. Hum yahan aaye the us bahadur inspector ke liye jise maalgaadi mein dakuon ki toli ke saath akele ladte dekha tha, kisi buzdil Thakur ke liye nahin jo hamari jaan bachane ke liye apne saamne padi bandook nahin utha saka.
Thakur Baldev Singh:
Tum log jaana chahte ho, theek hai chale jao. Lekin jaane se pehle, yeh bandook maine kyun nahin uthayi iski wajah nahin jaanna chahoge?
Veeru:
Kya wajah ho sakti hai? Tum buzdil ho, darpok ho.
