Scene #27 - Koi haseena jab rooth jaati hai to
Basanti starts off in her tonga. Veeru peeps from beneath the running tonga. Makes funny faces and tries to cheer Basanti up.
Veeru:
Koi haseena jab rooth jaati hai to, aur bhi haseen ho jaati hai. Koi haseena jab rooth jaati hai to, aur bhi haseen ho jaati hai.
Sound of the whistle of a train engine.
Veeru:
Tasion se gaadi jab choot jaati hai to, ek do teen ho jaati hai.
Veeru tries to come near Basanti but she pushes him off the tonga. Veeru runs and climbs up the tonga.
Basanti:
Chal hat sale!!!
Basanti tries to hit Veeru with her hunter but he catches it with his left hand.
Veeru:
Haathon mein chaabuk, hothon pe gaaliyaan... Haathon mein chaabuk, hothon pe gaaliyaan, bade nakhrewaliyaan, hoti hain taangewaliyaan. Koi taangewali jab rooth jaati hai to, hai to, hai to, aur namkeen ho jaati hai...
Veeru rubs his finger on Basanti's face and then tastes it.
Veeru:
Koi haseena jab rooth jaati hai to , aur bhi haseen ho jaati hai.
Basanti throws off Veeru who falls on a cyclist. Veeru gathers the cycle and follows the tonga, trying all sorts of circus-tricks.
Veeru:
Zulphon mein chayyain, mukhde pe dhoop hai... Zulphon mein chayyain, mukhde pe dhoop hai, bada mazedaar gori yeh, yeh tera rang-roop hai.
Basanti starts blushing.
Veeru:
Dor se patang jab toot jaati hai to, hai to, hai to, rut rangeen ho jaati hai.
Veeru climbs up the tonga and this time Basanti doesn't offer any kind of resistance.
Veeru:
Koi haseena jab rooth jaati hai to, aur bhi haseen ho jaati hai.
Veeru takes the driver's seat.
